My tutoring starts with understanding the whole picture. I listen to parental concerns, take account of feedback from school where available, and - most importantly - give real importance to the child’s own voice.
I want children to be able to tell me what feels tricky, what they enjoy, what they would like help with and what they want to feel more confident doing. Their thoughts help shape our sessions and give them genuine ownership of their learning.
From there, I tailor support to the individual child - whether that means strengthening foundations in phonics, reading, writing, maths or SPaG, preparing for SATs or the Phonics Screening Check, filling specific gaps in learning, or simply building confidence.

All tutoring begins with a FREE Meet & Greet, giving us the chance to get to know one another, talk through your child’s needs and make sure S.P feels like the right fit.

Online sessions offer the same personalised, engaging approach as face-to-face tuition, with the added flexibility of learning from home. Sessions are available across the UK and internationally, subject to availability and time-zone compatibility.

Small-group tutoring is available for families, friendship groups and home education groups. Sessions are tailored to the general needs of the children and can focus on a particular curriculum area, shared learning goal or engaging topic.
